I love cycling early in the morning particularly at the weekend because you get to see a part of Brighton which the tourists don’t…the quiet, working, backstage Brighton; the bollards being put of for the Vintage Car Rally, the dog walking, the closed cafes, the misty race course…

This is the Brighton I always want to show visitors…and one of the elements which makes me very happy to know that Brighton has been my home for over 15 years, and yet I’m still finding new places and layers within it to love…and as well as the sea, the South Downs is incredibly beautiful in the mist
